== Dutch Top 40 ==

Hello Ss112, I notice you added Dutch Top 40 year-end positions, but are you forget?? I add Dutch Top 40 year-end last year, but I found that Dutch Top 40 year-end positions was correct after week 52's list was publishered, if you add too early, you must change positions continuously, so can you not add Dutch Top 40 year-end positions temporarily?? Demi Lovato "I Love Me"

I do not understand, I am not the person who added about the song being the lead single the second time, after receiving the first alert to not include that information without a verified source. Also, I have sourced a discussion of her tattoo appropriately. Further, I am not the person who called it "an empowerment anthem" or whatever else. I saw that too and thought it was strange. All I have been doing is trying to add reliable information on the song as it is released, and make edits to improve grammar and readability. I do not appreciate your accusations when I am still learning how to provide quality edits and contribute to the Wikipedia community. Update: I just saw now that you have accused me of adding "writer credits" when I did not. You must be confused, and if someone else is editing things anonymously, you can't just assume it is me. All the edits that I have contributed to this page are public and with full intention for reliability. Also there is no need to use foul language with me or have an accusatory tone.HaysonDage (talk) 03:40, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Another update: I have now added that it is a lead single, cause I just read in a Billboard article that it is described as her "first lead single" to a "full-length studio album." I have sourced it appropriately as well. I hope this shows you that I am adding only reliable information with citations. Just please do not assume all edits made on this page are from me. Thank you. MJH?

Thoughts? [1] -Ad Orientem (talk) 02:27, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Ad Orientem: From the genre-warring almost straight out of the gate on Rihanna and Mariah Carey articles, I would say yes. Ss112 02:31, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think your edit summary ([2]) in response to BrandNew Jim Zhang seems a bit WP:UNCIVIL. I'm not saying that you meant to do that or whatever, but it could definitely be (mis)construed as such.  Bait30  Talk? 08:20, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Bait30: Perhaps, but BrandNew Jim Zhang, in their hurry to add the latest Pitchfork review to whichever article, disregards the pre-existing reference style (WP:CITEVAR), adds misformatted dates, uses publisher= where website= or work= should be used, and that's just the start of it. It is far from their first time doing so. I've silently corrected their edits on other articles before, and it was time I said something—whether in a summary or on their talk page, it would have been the same thing. It's just lazy. Ss112 08:24, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I know, it really is on the verge of being disruptive editing, but like they say, two wrongs don't make a right. Basically, I agree with what you said, but there were probably better ways for you to say it. I don't think it'll be a big deal though. I just wanted to let you know.  Bait30  Talk? 08:28, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry to do that because the code was auto-generated by python program. I have mentioned that in edit summary. And if there is a bug in the python program, please open an issue in my GitHub program. I'm working on a project using bots to cite news and add album reviews. -- BrandNew Jim Zhang (talk) 02:42, 6 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Portuguese Certifications.

Hi, some certifications for Portugal have been added to Little Mix’s single pages for both ‘Touch’ and ‘Shout Out To My Ex’, I’ve tried checking their source to assure they’re authentic but the link just will not load for me on any device. I don’t want to assume and remove them without properly checking, so I was wondering if you could quickly take a look as they might work for you?

Hope that won’t be too much hassle, thanks Lmarmy (talk) 19:25, 6 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Lmarmy: If memory serves me correctly, I don't think that link has worked for some time. I remember previously clicking on a website with much the same URL for Portuguese certifications last time I was checking the validity of certifications. If they were added recently, I say go ahead and remove them, as they're unverifiable. Ss112 21:34, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve removed them now. Lmarmy (talk) 22:13, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please build a "Still Flexin, Still Steppin" article?

I saw you built the article for "Music To Be Murdered By" by Eminem. The new NBA YoungBoy album has been out for about two and a half weeks. It was the most streamed album of the week, and it charted 7 different songs onto the Hot 100. Yet it still hasn't gotten an article yet. Was wondering if you could do it. I would do it myself, but I basically don't know how. Nikki Lee 1999 (talk) 08:52, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Nikki Lee 1999: Done. In future though, you don't need to go to five different users' talk pages to try and have an article started on it—I'm usually open to suggestions on articles to create, and I think out of the users you did ask, I'm the most receptive to said suggestions. I see you left messages on Damntcsarg and Rangel Carregosa's talk pages, users who frequent pop music topics and thus would be quite unlikely to start an article for a rapper's mixtape. Prefall, from my understanding, is not overly active in music specifically aside from improving Mac Miller's articles. BenKor hasn't edited since last month, Lk95 is unlikely to make an article for a topic somebody else has made a redirect for unless they have an interest in the material themselves, and Fejkxk looks like they only intermittently work on articles they're interested in themselves. So you can just ask me if you want. Ss112 10:12, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a ton! Didn't know who to ask, so I just looked around. Sorry if I was being disruptive by messaging multiple people. Nikki Lee 1999 (talk) 23:58, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources

Can discogs be used a reliable source? Beatleswillneverdie (talk) 03:49, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Beatleswillneverdie: No, as it's user-generated with little oversight (WP:USERG). That means we can't trust what users on there upload, as they could be uploading their own fanmade covers and CD or vinyl artwork. It would be far from the first time this has happened. Ss112 05:25, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

MJH?

Again?[3] -Ad Orientem (talk) 20:56, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Ad Orientem: I would say so, with the genre warring on Mariah Carey and other R&B articles, as well as the try-hard British-referencing username. Ss112 03:01, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ilomilo

What made you delete the article on ilomilo. It explained on why the song was created and how it charted in multiple countries Beatleswillneverdie (talk) 13:15, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

every song on dont smile at me has an article. Why can’t this one too? Beatleswillneverdie (talk) 13:19, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Beatleswillneverdie: Fantastic logic. "Every song on this artist's other release has an article, this should too". Basically every song off of Don't Smile at Me is a single. "Ilomilo" isn't on that EP, and it's just an album track. Not every Billie Eilish song needs its own article. And even after @Davidwr: telling you so below, you go and reinstate the link to Ilomilo (Billie Eilish song) on When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, copying Sulfurboy's edit summary. I don't think you even know what you're doing. Ss112 17:16, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Additional information: This was recently accepted as an Articles for creation submission, see Ilomilo (Billie Eilish song) and its page history. This means it has been reviewed. After you changed the page to a redirect, the same editor who created the song article, Beatleswillneverdie, created a new AFC submission that is substantially identical at Draft:ilomilo (song). I've requested a history merge. The end result is that both versions will live at Draft:ilomilo (song) for now, leaving the redirect you created intact.

After the history merge is complete, consider working with the original AFC reviewer, Sulfurboy, to determine if this should be accepted or not. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 14:56, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you (talk). Ssr said the article didn’t have enough information when it explained on why it was created and where it charted. I created the new article because I thought the other one was deleted. I added more info on that one. I’m still new to writing articles, so forgive me if I mess up. Beatleswillneverdie (talk) 15:26, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Davidwr: Then I believe you should redirect Ilomilo (Billie Eilish song) while Draft:Ilomilo (song) exists. We don't need two copies of the same thing to exist even now. Sulfurboy reinstated the article for Ilomilo, and seems to feel slighted that I redirected something that they accepted through AfC, when it never should have been accepted in the first place. Sulfurboy believes the article passes WP:NSONGS as is when it clearly does not. There is not substantial independent coverage of the song, and the only criteria it may meet is "Has been ranked on national or significant music or sales charts. (Note again that this indicates only that a song may be notable, not that it is notable.)" (emphasis added) Three low chart positions is not clear notability, and that's all this has going for it. The song is an album track, not a single, and has not achieved anything outside of the album. It doesn't need an article. Ss112 17:23, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Then why not also redirect "Listen Before I Go" and "I Love You". They both charted "low" in a lot of countries. "I Love You" has no background, no composition, and nothing else other than a very brief introduction. How come those two didn't get redirected?Beatleswillneverdie/(talk)/(contribs) 15:57, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Beatleswillneverdie: They weren't just created, and I didn't click through to their articles. They were made several months ago. Just because other non-notable song articles exist, does not mean we excuse others. You are using weak WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS arguments. Stop making articles on album tracks. Ss112 17:46, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Again, the article on "I Love You" has no info. Why not just redirect that to the album. Beatleswillneverdie/(talk)/(contribs) 16:15, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry if I disrupted your editing

Hello! I live in Sweden and just today thought about trying to add peaks for the singles in week 11. I noticed that I edited at the same time as you and also that you are more experienced, so I just wanted to apologize if I did something wrong or if I disrupted your editing. Its still 13 March 2020 here also so that's why I wrote that access date. I would gladly appreciate some tips also regarding adding peaks, if it was something I missed out on. Also, I'm very impressed by how quick you are adding the peaks, I didn't stand a chance, haha. Have a nice weekend! Zandor (talk) 14:43, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Just noted you wrote on my talk page. I sincerely apologize for my interfering, I did not mean any harm.

Tracklisting formats

I saw you recently edited the article for Your Life Is a Record so I wanted to invite you to weigh in on a dispute I'm currently having over formatting the tracklisting for it with another editor who created the page and imposed his own 'style' that it apparently clashes with. Would love to have additional feedback on this matter. See: Talk:Your_Life_Is_a_Record CloversMallRat (talk) 05:12, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Another question about which charts to include

Hello again! I was just curious why you removed the Billboard AAA chart single ranking for the song everything i wanted. Was the chart ranking too low on the chart to be added on or possibly a different reason? I can use the same logic then for further singles I edit. Thanks Bikingpadres (talk) 22:23, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Bikingpadres: Per WP:USCHARTS, we don't include the Triple A, Adult Alternative or Alternative Songs charts if a song has already appeared on either the Rock Songs or Rock Airplay charts. Ss112 22:41, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Ss112: Great to know! Thanks for the info and Wikipedia style page for charts when updating them on an artists page. Bikingpadres (talk) 17:30, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

FYI

Hello S. I got your ping. Thanks for bringing this to AB's attention. Just so you know the instructions for the template used to mention putting them in the ref section. That did get changed but several long term editors can be unaware of that change. We can ask them, politely, to put them at the top of the article but it may take them awhile to get used to doing it differently. Now if we could also get them to stop putting "bare url templates template" inside "multiple issue templates" fixing them would be much easier. Regards. MarnetteD|Talk 03:13, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Question

Hi again. Since one of the areas you focus on is music articles I wonder if you would take a look at this thread Template talk:AllMusic#Set field question. In my work one of the things I encounter from time to time is music articles that have been tagged with a bare url template. I run refill and it says that there are none to fix. When I check further I find an Allmusic template with the "pure url field" set to yes. Of course that displays a bare url in the reference section even though the reference is in a cite template. Then I set the field to "no" like this and the ref displays properly. I am hoping that the template can be changed so that the "no" is the default. That would save some time in fixing bare urls. I know that work goes into creating templates like that so I wouldn't touch them myself for fear of messing them up. If you don't know whether this can be changed or not no worries. Thanks for your time. MarnetteD|Talk 03:48, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Question regarding RS charts

Hello! I have seen on some recent articles that editors are placing projected RS charts in the chart sections. As far as I’m aware of, only finalized charts from RS is fine to use. But WP:RSCHART is only an essay, so just wanted to ask you if I am doing the right thing when removing projected peaks. Thank you in advance. Zandor (talk) 00:58, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@DariuZzandor: I'm well aware WP:RSCHART is an essay. But the logic is pretty simple: Why would we include a chart that is projected and not final? It's basically speculation until it's final, which we don't do on Wikipedia per WP:SPECULATION. Ss112 05:20, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I understand that it is logical, just wanted some clarification from an experienced editor that I did the correct thing. Thank you for explaining it to me. Zandor (talk) 11:03, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I was the one to replace your precious 300x300px image. I hope that I didn't offend you by replacing the image with the one that are used for the Childish Gambino release. I tried to also add the Donald Glover Presents cover with {{Extra album cover}}, but it got removed. I have uploaded both images on Commons with a 3000x3000px resolution (c:Category:Donald Glover albums). - Premeditated (talk) 11:44, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Should we collapse track listing in articles?

Is it's necessary to collapse track listing in articles because I argued with Nice4What about this, and wondering despite MOS:DONTHIDE says, should this implies to track listings too? TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 21:53, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@TheAmazingPeanuts: I don't think it's "necessary" in most cases to collapse track lists, and I don't believe we should in most cases per MOS:NOHIDE. I would only argue for collapsing in rare circumstances where there are dozens of editions being listed. Ss112 21:55, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for answering my question. Don't mean to brother you for this, I just wanna hear a second opinion about this issue because of this edit. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 22:02, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@TheAmazingPeanuts: I'm not getting involved with the ping at the After Hours talk page; it doesn't look it will go anywhere anyway, as Koavf has now removed the collapsed= option from Module:Track listing here (probably because he looked at my edits and saw this thread). If you agree that there are some cases where collapsing should be allowed, then perhaps ask a user with template editor permissions or an admin to revert Koavf. Besides that, he's pointing to a years-old archived thread. I agree in most cases collapsing should not happen, but forcing all to appear is heavy-handed and would need a new consensus. As you're most involved in this matter currently, this is why I'm saying you should ask. Ss112 23:32, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not looking for you to get revolve in the discussion or anything. I only mentioned you by name because the editor seems to be the only one who disagree with the removal of the collapse list. Again sorry for the ping, I won't don't that again anytime soon. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 23:47, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hungary

Hello,

So I have a doubt regarding the Hungary charts since there are 4 different of those Template:Single_chart#Non-Billboard_charts. I wonder if in an article we can use them all or we just use the stream when the song doesn't make it into the single charts, and should't the single one be the main instead of the radio? I'm asking you since you edit charts more than anyone else I know on wikipedia and very likely have more experience regarding this, I was even wondering if this works like billboard there is a main and the others are component charts or not, like the hungarian dance or not.

Best regards, MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 15:09, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@MarioSoulTruthFan: I don't add the Hungarian charts (that's Kirtap92), so I'm not particularly sure. I would think the chart marked the Single Top 40 would take precedence over the radio and streaming charts (due to airplay and streaming figures generally counting towards countries' main charts), and thus neither should be listed when a song already charted on the Single Top 40. As for the dance genre chart, I assume that's fine to list when a song charted on it as we do it for other countries. I do agree that for a country like Hungary, that really isn't that significant in terms of worldwide charts, that four charts is excessive though. Perhaps Kirtap92 can shed more light on which is the primary chart of Hungary. Ss112 15:26, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I will ask the other user then. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 16:05, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Could an article for Big Bopper discography or for the album "Chantilly Lace" be made?

Not sure if you do work on older music. In general, Wikipedia pages on artists and music from the 1950s and 1960s tend to be very messy. Big Bopper does not have a discography page, and he also doesn't have an organized discography table on his article. Also, the album Chantilly Lace does not have a page. Should articles be made for these types of albums? Or does a lack of sources make that impossible? Nikki Lee 1999 (talk) 18:18, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Nikki Lee 1999: You're right, pages on music from and before the '60s can get quite messy and strangely formatted, but this also may reflect the availability of sources on such old material—if there's not as much information, it's likely there's not as many editors interested in the material or around to clean up the articles and thus contribute to them, as there's not a lot to do. From what I've just found, the Big Bopper only had five or so songs chart on the Hot 100, and he appears to have had no albums appear on the Billboard 200 (unless Billboard's archives are lacking when it comes to '50s and '60s data on charting albums, which is a possibility). If the album did indeed chart despite Billboard's lack of said information, or there are sources beyond listings of the album at music archive websites like Discogs and AllMusic (which there doesn't appear to be a lot from a simple Google search), then the album may be notable. In the end though, I'm leaning towards no—it doesn't appear to stand out as a classic of rock, and really only appears to have been the album the much more popular song is from. As for his discography, while I'm sure what is on his article now could be expanded, I'm not sure how much given the lack of charting or an extensive history of records after his death compared to other artists from the time. Ss112 19:33, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Billboard 200 did not really exist in its current form until 1967. So that might be the reason. Before 1967 might be classified differently in the album archives.

Understandable that it would lack sources, since it is so old. The most I could probably request is that his page get a standard discography table, instead of a janky bulleted list with details in parenthesis. Sorry if it sounds lazy of me to not do it myself, but I'm generally inexperienced with tables and formatting. Nikki Lee 1999 (talk) 01:46, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Full ARIA 100 Single Chart?

Hi. I'm aware that the ARIA Chart Watch publishing the full 100 Australian singles was abolished a couple of weeks ago, but I recently stumbled upon top100singles.net which somehow still continues to obtain the full list of 100 (I'm assuming that the website is a third party source and that they have to be getting this info from somewhere else). It could very well be the same chart because it includes the correct first 50 entries from the official chart at ariacharts.com. One can also prove that the website is reliable by comparing the 2019 list of singles and their peaks (50-100) to the ones in the ARIA Chart Watch. heyitsben!! talk 09:48, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@HeyitsBen: Top100singles is a blog set up by a user of australian-charts.com. I don't doubt that the information is accurate, but it's not a reliable source. It previously had Blogspot in its web address, so obviously uses that software. Ss112 11:16, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for consistently updating charts to everything. I'm in the process of compiling more discographies for idol-related anime series and have been pleasantly surprised to see you updating them too. I'm grateful for your work. lullabying (talk) 01:31, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jessie J- R.O.S.E Album

Hi sorry to bother you but I’ve noticed you’ve updated a lot of artists discography pages. As I’m doing the same haha. I was curious to know if you were able to see if you can find any info on if Jessie J’s R.O.S.E album charted anywhere? I tried searching but evidently had no luck. I just thought that was quite odd since she’s very well known in the UK & Europe. Pillowdelight (talk) 11:21, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Pillowdelight: I can't find any evidence of it charting on any UK component charts or even the Scottish albums chart—she's had a few years of very little to no chart success, and I'm honestly not so sure what occurred to change her fortunes either. Ss112 01:15, 9 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh wow. I just thought It was so odd she didn’t chart anywhere! Pillowdelight (talk) 02:02, 9 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request

On BlocBoy JB's page, it states that "Rover" peaked at number 24 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. However, I am having trouble finding his Billboard chart history page. Could you help me? Thanks in advance! 2019AlwaysLit (talk) 01:18, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@2019AlwaysLit: According to https://www.billboard.com/charts/search?artistname=BlocBoy+JB&chartcode=HBU, "Rover" didn't chart ("Rover 2.0" did, however). Ss112 02:17, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks!2019AlwaysLit (talk) 17:17, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Could you also see if you could find BlocBoy's history on Bubbling Under Hot r&B/Hip hop singles? 2019AlwaysLit (talk) 17:18, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@2019AlwaysLit: Per https://www.billboard.com/charts/search?artistname=BlocBoy+JB&chartcode=HBU, he's only had two entries on the Bubbling Under R&B chart, and one of those was as a featured artist on "Hard". Ss112 01:05, 9 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I added Shoot's chart history to his page. Thanks! 2019AlwaysLit (talk) 01:07, 9 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Swedish charts

Hello! Just wanted to inform you that the Swedish charts for week 15 has already been published, I think due to easter. I just added the peaks for one Jireel song and one Eínar song, since I added the singles beforehand. I leave the rest for you though. Have a nice day, DariuZzandor 20:04, 9 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Outside (Burna Boy album)

Hi Ss112
Hope all is well on your end? I added sources to the Outside (Burna Boy album) article using the default cite web template. Instead of utilizing the template's |last and |first fields, I used the |author field to list the author's name. I'd like to know if there is some kind of automated tool that can convert |author into |last and |first, similar to what you did here. Would you be able to help me with the conversion if there is an automated tool? I'd appreciate a response, thanks.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 01:32, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Versace1608: I'm not too sure, as I don't use scripts or automated tools. AWB might do it, but you might have to ask someone who does use automated tools or scripts. I know @Jennica: once did something like this. Ss112 01:56, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the response. I am going to leave a message on Jennica's talk page.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 14:51, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering if you could move First Man (Camila Cabello song) to First Man (song) as there is no need to specify who's song it is when their is only one article about a song that title.

VNV Nation, Noire (album)

Hi, I was looking to add some information for the "Noire" album by VNV Nation, but have seen that redirects were put in place back in October 2018 by yourself to the VNV Nation discography. As the album was only released in October 2018, the same time as the redirects were added, I wasn't sure whether there was deletion/redirect discussion and request for this, as I wasn't able to find anything of this nature. Would you have any objections to me undoing the redirect for "Noire (album)" and creating a proper album page, with reviews and details, etc.? Thank you - Missbarbell (talk) 14:04, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Missbarbell. Ss112 is taking some time away from the project and may not respond in a timely manner to messages left here. He asked me to keep an eye on his talk page. If you think you have enough material to replace a redirect with an article that meets our notability guidelines, go ahead. Best regards... -Ad Orientem (talk) 14:25, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. Thank you for checking in and asking first. Courtesy of that sort goes a long ways. -Ad Orientem (talk) 14:30, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks for following up. I saw above that Ss112 was taking some time away, so wasn't expecting an answer any time soon. Thank you - Missbarbell (talk) 17:11, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stay safe

Hi SS112, Just noticed that I haven't come across your edits recently and seen the "semi-retired" on your page. All aside from our crossovers in articles in the past, from one Australian to another, I wish you good safety in the current times and good health. Let me use language not appropriate for WP – WTF?

Ss112, really....and your User page is virtually gone, too? In my COVID-19-trying-to-stay-at-home, I was listening to J-Hope's "Chicken Noodle Soup" again, after again....and checked the page to see about the original song it was sampled from....then I checked the page creator and it was you...of course....how much music have you absorbed in your short lifetime?

I don't know what's going on with you man, just remember you have a lot of fans and support here on WP.....hey...you are the Man!

Not trying to be cute, but you know how much you are valued here. I hope the very best for you and hope you are well......and most of all....remember this is your home. Miss you.--Bonnielou2013 (talk) 11:23, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Already missing you

Ss112, You must know I already miss you personally and miss your tireless Wikipedia contributions in music very very very dearly indeed. I feel I already lost a brother who really cared about music all over the world. A unique Wikipedia contributor of immense profound value almost uncomparable to thousands of editors put together. For me, Wikipedia Music is divided into two: Wikipedia with Ss112 and Wikipedia post-Ss112. Specially effected will be all non-UK non-USA artists worldwide who needed so much your coverage and updated pages. I am also so tired of Wikipedia, exactly as you, and may follow suit. Here a personal song dedication to you for all your work. What a fine young man. werldwayd (talk) 00:31, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Amaia and Afred discography

Hello, thanks for creating: Amaia discography and Alfred García discography. Can you create Ana Guerra discography? Ana is one of also having a successful career. You can watch it from here: Anexo:Discografía de Ana Guerra

Thank you very much.--87.223.61.71 (talk) 17:10, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I do not mean that. I mean to create an article of your discography like that of Aitana, Alfred or Amaia. Greetings.--87.223.98.160 (talk) 22:54, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Good. I've already done it. Now you just need to create Template:Ana Guerra to place it at the end of the article. But I can't do it, because I'm not registered. Greetings.--87.223.98.160 (talk) 23:35, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your messages, but in case you missed it, there is a note at the top of my talk page saying please approach other editors with editing requests. I really don't wish to create articles upon request anymore. Besides, Ana Guerra doesn't have any articles to link to besides one song. There's not enough to create a navigational template for—see WP:NENAN—so I will not be creating it. If you have anything to request beyond this point, please approach another editor. Thanks. Ss112 02:50, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Just so you know

Hey. Just so you know, no one wants Draft:Confetti (Little Mix album) more in the mainspace then me. But, the article can’t be moved into the mainspace for right now. According to reviewers, the article needs reliable sources (✅), detailed album reviews (on our way there) and charting (❌). It’s probably gonna be at least another week before the article is moved, as charts for the album won’t start to come until the week after the album is released. I promise as soon as the requirements are met I will be pressing the "submit for review" button. Thanks! D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 13:18, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Doggy54321: Charting has never been a requirement for an album article to exist or be notable. If it were, we would never have articles for upcoming albums on Wikipedia, but yet, we have plenty. There have been historically significant albums that never charted. You don't need to follow the draft reviewers' recommendations to the T; I've seen those same editors deny countless upcoming album articles with the same rhetoric that they think charting is a requirement based on WP:NALBUMS saying charting is an "indication" of notability. I know you started the draft, but by all accounts, the sixth album by a well-known girl group that is guaranteed to make the UK album chart top 10, if not top 5, is a surefire guarantee to be notable from inception, and if I were you, I would have created it in the mainspace to begin with. I've asked for the article to be moved already. I don't know if it will be, but I also don't think in this case there is anything to wait for when we already have substantial news coverage and reviews. Ss112 13:54, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Also, having an article for an album stuck in draftspace when a lot of people will be searching for information on it in the first week of its release is doing a disservice to readers and a potential audience. You really should want it approved ASAP. If you still disagree, fine, I don't want a back-and-forth here. All I'm saying is, you don't need to follow draft reviewers' recommendations or wait it out when what they disapproved your draft for has already been fulfilled. Ss112 14:03, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I did create the article in the mainspace on September 16 (the day the album was announced), but the next day it got moved to draftspace and I’ve just been editing it from there. I do think it’s time for the article to go to mainspace. If you could submit it when you see fit, that would be great as the last time I submitted it, the reviewer warned me, accused me of paid editing etc, and basically said "if you submit again without significant improvement you will get a topic ban/partial block from Little Mix articles" and I’m not trying to do that as Little Mix is my favourite band. What’s more is the Confetti (Little Mix album) has been admin-protected until 23:00 UTC tonight as there were editors adding the same content from the draft article to the main article, and I kept reverting them, and it was treated as an edit war/content dispute. It wasn’t that at all but I’m not tryna argue with that because it expires in less than 12 hours. Do what you want with this info. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 14:04, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Definitely agree that it will be an inconvenience to viewers as well. We seem to be on the same page. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 14:05, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Doggy54321: Right, apologies, I missed that you initially created it in mainspace but it was moved into draftspace. That reviewer's warning sounds particularly unreasonable, to throw out accusations of paid editing based on interest in a topic. I wouldn't worry too much, it's obviously preventative BS. If I could've moved it already, I definitely would have, but it's admin-protected. I've asked for Anthony Appleyard to move it, that's the quickest route to having it in mainspace. Ss112 14:10, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks so much. Long story short - User:DarkGlow got in contact with me since they can accept drafts. Unfortunately, they aren’t a page mover nor an admin. I resubmitted the draft and it’s pending review. If you can get in contact with Anthony Appleyard, please ask them to delete Confetti (Little Mix album) and remove all page protections. As soon as they do this, let me know, ASAP. I’ll ask DarkGlow to accept the draft, and then they can move it to the mainspace since the page won’t be there. I’ll get in contact with the admin Valereee, they’re awake at this time and I’ve asked them for help before, so let’s hope one of our plans works! Dutch Top 40
