Hi, I've got the impression that this project may be fairly dormant nowadays but I wonder if anyone could point me in the direction of sources relating to :Mazhabi Sikhs in Pakistan? Our article did say that they are still present there but I have my doubts, especially given the 1947 migrations of communities both to and from Pakistan/India. Might there be modern census data that could help, for example? Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 08:27, 22 June 2016 (UTC)

It seems that this musician made so many recordings that a separate discography article is warranted. Is there someone familiar with his music who can add some references so that this can be moved to mainspace?—Anne Delong (talk) 15:59, 30 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, the above article needs a bit of work. It has been nominated to appear in ITN. --Skr15081997 (talk) 12:38, 7 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Help on suspicious editing by IPs on Pakistan-related articles

Hello,

This type of edits look very suspicious, especially with the comment "made basic corrections". Also this is a very strange way of making "basic corrections".

I am not knowledgeable enough on the topics at hand to judge, however can someone please have a look at the edits of the following IPs?

I notice that the person(s) behind these IP often sign(s) messages in talk pages by Col (r) Mumtaz Khan and Prof (r) Hilda Khan. Also, this and this are useful tools to check the activity of an entire IP range, even if it of course can have many different Wikipedia users. Place Clichy (talk) 16:46, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The IP range belongs to the national telephone / internet carrier and should be a very busy IP range. The first two edits are obvious vandalism. I guess this is a matter for WP:AIV in case of persistence but it might be a different user in each case. --lTopGunl (talk) 19:55, 2 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This user has also been vandalizing this page periodically https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayub_Ommaya

Here we go again with similar edits (which I would call vandalism) from:
I also noticed that user Khani100 has (had) a very similar edit pattern, with activity on the same articles and similar edit comments such as "made basic corrections". Can't find why this user is no longer contributing under a username as this account is not blocked. Do you think action of some kind is necessary? I left some notes on IP talk pages about some specific edits I found contentious, with no answer. I think that a semi-protection on the pages most targeted by this user would be a good action, but I came here by chance and I am not at all knowledgeable on the Pakistani context, so I would not be a good person to raise it myself at WP:AIV. Place Clichy (talk) 18:32, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This still active simple english user https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Hamneto also has a similar edit pattern, also leaving the same "made basic corrections" Jrhumba (talk) 04:03, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Shafqat Emmanuel and Shagfuta Kausar blasphemy case - Significant improvement is needed to this article, on a likely notable topic, which is currently written as an essay. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated AusLondonder (talk) 05:25, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Doubtful notability

I recently came across the article "Amb Jogi," which seems to me to be of doubtful notability. However, if somebody could do a check for non-English sources, I would appreciate it. Also, how useful is an article in the Encyclopedia Sindhiana? I am unfamiliar with it. Regards, Vanamonde93 (talk) 18:50, 18 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Auto-assessment of article classes

Following a recent discussion at WP:VPR, there is consensus for an opt-in bot task that automatically assesses the class of articles based on classes listed for other project templates on the same page. In other words, if WikiProject A has evaluated an article to be C-class and WikiProject B hasn't evaluated the article at all, such a bot task would automatically evaluate the article as C-class for WikiProject B.

If you think auto-assessment might benefit this project, consider discussing it with other members here. For more information or to request an auto-assessment run, please visit User:BU RoBOT/autoassess. This is a one-time message to alert projects with over 1,000 unassessed articles to this possibility. ~ RobTalk 01:19, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone please help in addressing the comments at this GA review? The nominator, SRandaall, appears to be away since April 2016. This article is in a pretty good shape but needs some work before it can become a GA, which I believe it deserves to be. Thanks in advance. Sainsf (talk · contribs) 06:06, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
