The 2021 Atlanta mayoral election will decide the next mayor of Atlanta, Georgia. Incumbent mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms has announced she will seek reelection. During her first term, Bottoms gained additional notoriety after she was considered by Joe Biden to be his running mate in the 2020 United States presidential election. Biden eventually picked Senator Kamala Harris.
