Bhavikeri is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Ankola taluk of Uttara Kannada district in Karnataka.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Bhavikeri had a population of 7816 with 3927 males and 3889 females. The village has a plain straight beach. There are 2-3 notable ponds including Mankeri and Dundagana Kere. Main occupations: agriculture, animal husbandry and poultry, teaching, carpentry, daily wagers, taxi drivers, truck mentors, mining. Communities inhabited: Nadavaru, Namadhari, Shetty, aacahri, Ager, Gouda. Temples: Kanabeer temple
