Ekma (Vidhan Sabha constituency) (Hindi: एकमा विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र) is an assembly constituency in Saran district in the Indian state of Bihar.

Overview

As per Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies Order, 2008, No. 113 Ekma (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Ekma and Lahladpur community development blocks; Mohmmadpur, Bhajouna Nachap, atarsan ashahni, nawada, Bhalua Bujurg, Mobarakpur, Matiyar, Chephul and Gobrahi gram panchayats of Manjhi CD Block, HARIHARPUR (PARSAGARH) of EKMA Block.[1]

Ekma (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of No. 19 Maharajganj (Lok Sabha constituency).[1]

Election results

In the 2015 state assembly elections, Manoranjan Singh of JD(U) won the Ekma assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Kameshwar Kumar Singh of Bharatiya Janata Party.[2]
