"My Defenses Are Down" is a song from the 1946 musical Annie Get Your Gun, by Irving Berlin. It was first performed by Ray Middleton.[1]

In British English the song is called "My Defences Are Down".[2]

In the song, Frank Butler sings about how falling in love with Annie Oakley has made him lose all his confidence in dealing with women.
