Tecumseh is an unincorporated community in Fairfield Township, Tippecanoe County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[2]

Located within the city limits of Lafayette, the community is part of the Lafayette, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area.

History

The community was named after Tecumseh, the Native American Shawnee chief.[3]
