Chundawats are the descendants of Rana Chunda of Mewar. Chundawats are a Rajput clan and were powerful chiefs in the Mewar region during the 1700s.Rana Chunda was the Eldest son of Sisodia -Rana Lakha of Mewar and the heir to throne of Mewar. Rana Chunda renounced his right to the throne and all its luxuries. Chundawats are known for this Great Sacrifice and their acts of Heroism throughout Rajput History.[1]
