Ayub Khan (born 23 February 1969) is an Indian film and television actor who made his television debut as Parikshit in BR Chopra's Mahabharat.[1] He is the son of Nasir Khan and Begum Para, as well as nephew of veteran actor Dilip Kumar. He gained recognization playing Jogi Thakur in Uttaran and became more popular by portraying Rajnath Goenka in Ek Hasina Thi and Maninder Singh in Shakti.[2] Apart from television, he featured in more than twenty movies.

Personal life

He was born into the Hindko speaking Awan tribe to former 1950s actress Begum Para and actor Nasir Khan.[3]

Ayub Khan was married to Niharika Bhasin, known for films like Rock On!! (2008) and The Dirty Picture (2011). They met while in college. When Niharika left for the US for her studies, they married other people. After 11 years they divorced and married each other.[4][5]
