Helly Shah (born 7 January 1996)[1] is an Indian television actress known for her portrayal of Swara Maheshwari in Swaragini and Devanshi Bakshi in Devanshi.[3] In 2020, she began playing Niti in Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 on Colors TV.[4]
Personal life
Shah is a Gujarati from Ahmedabad.[2][5][6] She is a vegetarian.[6]
Career
Shah began her acting career when she was in 8th grade.[7] Her career began with Star Plus's show Gulaal.[2] She then played Alaxmi in Life OK's Alaxmi – Humari Super Bahu.[2] Later, she played Ami in Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi.[8] She then appeared in Sony Pal's Khushiyon Kii Gullak Aashi.[9]
From March 2015 to December 2016, Shah portrayed Swara Maheshwari in Swaragini opposite Varun Kapoor.
In 2016, Shah participated in Colors TV's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9. In 2017, she portrayed Devanshi Upadhyay/Bakshi in Devanshi for which she won the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress Popular.
In 2019, she portrayed Saltanat Shah and Kaynaat Shah in Star Bharat's Sufiyana Pyaar Mera opposite Rajveer Singh for which she won the Gold Award for Best Actress in Negative Role.[10] Next, she appeared as Neha in Star Plus's Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.[11]
In 2020, Shah began portraying Riddhima in Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 opposite Vishal Vashishtha and Rrahul Sudhir.[12]

Talking about playing the character, Helly told IANS: "Swara is very similar to what I am in real life. The only difference is I am Gujarati and she is Bengali. Swara as Bengali is a non-vegetarian eating person, but in real life I am a vegetarian."
