Routeing

The Hemkunt Express runs via Haridwar Junction, Saharanpur Junction, Ambala Cantonment, Ludhiana, Pathankot to Jammu Tawi to Udhampur station and finally halting at the newly made Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station.

Traction

WDP4D of Tughlkhabad hauls the train in entire journey.. Railway works to give WAP7 to the train as soon as possible.

14610 Jammu Tawi Rishikesh Hemkunt Express leaves Shri Mata Vaisno Devi Katra on a daily basis at 16:20 hrs IST and reaches Rishikesh at 08:00 hrs IST the next day.
