Ellawala Medhananda Thero is a Sri Lankan politician and a former member of the Parliament of Sri Lanka. As an academic scholar[citation needed] he has published 40 books of academic and archaeological research.[citation needed][1] Medhananda is known for his right-wing political leanings and hawkish, pro-majoritarian sentiments.[2]
