The AFC Asian Cup qualification is the process that a national association football team goes through to qualify for the AFC Asian Cup finals.

Notes:

  • Chinese Taipei played as the Republic of China in the 1964 and 1976 Asian Cup.
  • Timor-Leste were banned from qualifying for the 2023 Asian Cup for using 12 ineligible players between 2011–2017 and providing false documents.[1]
