Abortion in Kazakhstan is legal with consent of the pregnant woman.[1] Abortions are available to women in Kazakhstan within the first 28 weeks of conception.[1]
History
Abortion law in Kazakhstan is based upon law in the former USSR and has not been updated since independence in 1992.[1]
