Agrahara Belaguli (Kannada: ಅಗ್ರಹಾರ ಬೆಳಗುಲಿ, [undefined] Error: {{Transliteration}}: no text (help)) is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2]
It is situated about 25 km from Channarayapattana in Hassan district. The prefix Agrahara indicates that the village housed a large number of Brahmin Scholar families who were said to have been performing the Shatkarmas (adhyayana-adhyaapana,yajana-yaajana,daana-pratigrahaNa).[citation needed] But now it has reduced to a meagre 3-4 families.[citation needed]

The two big tanks Honnammanakere(formerly LakshmiSamudra) and Hosakere(formerly KeshavaSamudra)situated at the either ends of the village also have historical importance. The annual cart festival for the Village deity Honnammadevi takes place every year during the spring.
