The Ankara Express (Turkish: Ankara Ekspresi) was an Inter-City train from Istanbul to Ankara on the İstanbul–Ankara Main Line. The train consisted of only sleeping cars and a dining car. The trains ran daily and departed at 22:00 from Ankara Central Station and İstanbul Haydarpaşa Terminal arriving in Ankara at 07:00 and in Istanbul at 06:38 respectively.

As of 2012 this train has not been running so the rail line could be upgraded. The train service to and from Istanbul is scheduled to begin again on Republic Day (Cumhuriyet Bayramı), 29 October 2013.
