Billy Longer is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited with pick #8 in the 2011 National Draft, having played as a ruckman for the Northern Knights in the TAC Cup.[1]

Playing career

2012–2013: Career with Brisbane

He made his debut in Round 3 of the 2012 AFL season, against Fremantle.

2014–present: Career with St Kilda

After two years and nine senior games, Longer announced that he wanted to return to Melbourne to live, he said he missed his family and friends and sought a trade. He expressed an interest in playing for St Kilda,[2] and was traded, along with pick 48, for picks 25 and 41.[3]
