Ministry of Economic Strategy

The Economic Strategy Minister (Hebrew: שר לאסטרטגיה כלכלית, Sar LeAstrategia Kalkalit) is a member of the Israeli cabinet. The post was created following the formation of a new government in March 2009, and is held by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Between 5 April 1981 and 16 September 1984, there had been a similar position, named Minister of Economics and Inter-Ministry Coordination. It was resurrected on 16 September 1986 as the Minister of Economics and Planning, before being scrapped again in November 1995.
