Eslamabad (Persian: اسلام اباد)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Miandorud-e Bozorg Rural District[4] of the Central District of Miandorud County, Mazandaran province, Iran.
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 3,362 in 904 households, when it was in the former Miandorud District of Sari County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,912 people in 1,129 households,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Miandorud County. The rural district was transferred to the new Central District.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 3,997 people in 1,261 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
