Genoa Township is one of nineteen townships in DeKalb County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 5,704 and it contained 2,187 housing units.[2]

History

Genoa Township is named after Genoa, New York.[3]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.12 square miles (93.6 km2), of which 36.04 square miles (93.3 km2) (or 99.78%) is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 km2) (or 0.25%) is water.[2]
