  • curprev 18:2018:20, 3 September 2019 146.199.60.2 talk 4,577 bytes +15 ah cack, I meant to hit all three copies of the date, got hung up on the edit summary
  • curprev 18:1918:19, 3 September 2019 146.199.60.2 talk 4,562 bytes +195 I've looked through all the already-cited sources AND the non-citation external link, and none of them give a birthdate any more precise than "circa 1881" (or "early 1880s"). Where did "May 1st 1884" come from, other than as someone's best guess at his actual birthday (1st of the month, and a common public holiday, is a pointer to that)? It'd also mean he was no more than 1 year 7 months old when he did whatever "accepting Métis scrip" is... 4yo is still young, but at least conscious and verbal.
  • curprev 18:0918:09, 3 September 2019 146.199.60.2 talk 4,367 bytes +29 Early life: If you're just going to toss in something like that which is somewhere between obscure and confusing to a reader unfamiliar with the detailed demographic history of Canada, it would help to have the first explanatory internal link to the Métis article come quite a bit further up the text than the near-footnote it's currently relegated to. Also, be consistent with the accenting. (Plus some editing for flow/English readability etc - though I'm still not sure what "Métis scrip" is)
