Identification badges of the uniformed services of the United States

Identification badges of the United States military are insignia which are presented to service members for performing certain duties in the offices of the President, Vice President, Secretary of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff and Secretary of Homeland Security.

The Presidential and Vice Presidential Service Badges are issued to the seven uniformed services of the United States and other aides to President and Vice President. The Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Identification Badges are issued only to service members of five military branches serving within the respective office of the Department of Defense. The Department of Homeland Security Identification Badge is issued only to service members of five military branches serving within the Office of the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
