Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology (KFUEIT) (Template:Lang-ur) is a higher education institution located in Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan.

KFUEIT is a public sector University established as a first Engineering and IT university in south Punjab. It is named after the famous Sufi poet Khwaja Ghulam Fareed. He is considered one of the most famous 19th century Sufi poet, scholar and writer. Establishment of KFUEIT is a dynamic initiation of Government of Punjab. This institute aspires to be a Centre of excellence for Engineering and IT which acts as an effective agent of change and model for others to emulate. It adds up greatly to the professional education system of the region. Initially University started its administrative operations and academic activities mainly in the premises of Government College of Technology Rahim Yar Khan. Later it moved to its own campus in January 2016. KFUEIT now stretches over a campus of 220 acres located on Abu Dhabi Road (5 km from Dari Sangi, near Aman garh). The University has currently around 400 students, with over 40 teaching staff mostly PhDs. New departments construction work is moving on a rapid pace and is projected to complete in early 2017. With the completion of departments construction, new undergraduate and graduate degree programs are expected to commence in fall 2017. KFUEIT being the first engineering and IT university of the region, attracts best of lot and with its state of art infrastructure it poses to be one of the leading university of the country.

Programs

Currently the University offers bachelor's degree in following Engineering and Technology programs:

New batch of students is enrolled every year in fall semester. All seats per annual admission are filled on the basis of open merit system. ECAT is a compulsory requirement for admission at the university.
