Meanwhile, after suffering through a "vegetarian meal", Julius buys a big crate of sausage which will be the entire week's dinner. However, Tonya refuses to eat sausage, causing friction between her and Rochelle. Julius tries to be nice to her in this case. At first Rochelle and Julius are against the idea of him dropping out, but they decide to support him. Chris takes the G.E.D. test and if he passes he will be able to get a job. Meanwhile, Drew wants to perform on the Apollos, but he realizes he doesn't have a talent. Rochelle, Drew and Tanya meet Chris at a diner, waiting for Julius. The episode ends with the entire family sitting around a restaurant table, listening to "Livin' on a Prayer" (performed by Bon Jovi), as Julius has Chris' G.E.D. results. The last thing said is Chris asking, "What's it say?", then the scene blacks out, ending the Everybody Hates Chris series. Note: The ending is a spoof of The Sopranos series finale. Also, When Julius parks his truck, the camera closes up to the number 735 which is painted onto his truck. The number is implying 735 was Chris's score, which means he did pass his GED (a 92 percent), considering GED is scored out of 800. |
