Metallic Rouge (メタリックルージュ, Metarikku Rūju) is an upcoming Japanese original anime television series produced by Bones for the studio's 25th anniversary. It is directed by Motonobu Hori, with Yutaka Izubuchi in charge of series composition while also serving as chief supervisor, Toshizo Nemoto writing the screenplay, Toshihiro Kawamoto designing the characters and Taisei Iwasaki composing the music.[1] It is scheduled to premiere on Fuji TV's +Ultra programming block on January 11, 2024.[a] Crunchyroll licensed the series outside of Asia.[3][4] The opening theme song is "Rouge" by Yu-ka, while the ending theme song is "Scarlet" by Dazbee.[5]

Premise

In a world where humans and artificial beings coexist, an android girl, Rouge Redstar, and her buddy, Naomi Orthmann, are on a mission to Mars. It is to kill nine rebellious androids who are hostile to the government called the Immortal Nine.
