The Nuremberg S-Bahn (German: S-Bahn Nürnberg) is an S-Bahn network covering the region of Nuremberg, Fürth and Erlangen which was founded in 1987 and is now integrated in the Transport Association Region Nuremberg (Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg). The full length of the four current lines is about 229 kilometres. The S-Bahn trains are operated by DB Regio Mittelfranken, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn Regio Bayern; from December 2018 it is to be operated by National Express Group.
