Rod Holcomb is an American television director and producer. He has directed episodes of television series such as ER, Quincy, M.E., The Six Million Dollar Man, Battlestar Galactica, Fantasy Island, The A-Team, The District, The Lyon's Den, Lost, Invasion, Moonlight, Shark, The Pentagon Papers, The Education of Max Bickford, China Beach, Wiseguy, The Equalizer, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, The Devlin Connection, The Greatest American Hero, Hill Street Blues, The West Wing, and Numb3rs.[1]

In 1986, he directed the TV film Blind Justice, starring Tim Matheson. In 1989, he directed Chains of Gold written by and starring John Travolta. The film was not released until 1991 and only shown theatrically in Germany; it debuted on cable television in the United States.

In 2009, Holcomb won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for the series finale of ER, "And in the End...".

In 2010, Holcomb directed the episodes "Conjugal"[2] and "Bang"[3] for the first season of CBS legal drama The Good Wife. In the same year he directed the television film adaptation The 19th Wife, based on the novel of the same name.
