Sathya Jyothi Films is a film production and distribution company in India. It was established in 1977 by T. G. Thyagarajan and G. Saravanan.[1][2][3]

History

Sathya Jyothi Films was founded by T. G. Thyagarajan in the 1970s. Thyagarajan, an MBA graduate from the US, is the son of film producer, late Venus T. Govindarajan, who had made films from the 1960s to the 1980s under Venus Pictures. Thyagarajan initially ventured into film productions under the studio Satya Movies, production company of his father-in-law R. M. Veerappan before founding Sathya Jyothi Films in the late 1970s.[4][5]

1985 Pagal Nilavu Mani Ratnam Murali, Revathi, Sathyaraj Selvam is indebted to Devarajan, a big shot in town, for saving his mother. When he falls in love with the sister of the new police inspector, Devarajan plans to make good use of the situation.
1986 Manithanin Marupakkam K. Rangaraj Sivakumar, Radha, Jayashree Sujatha, a journalist, covers the story of Ravi who has been sentenced for murdering his wife Kala, Sujatha's sister. However, a day before his scheduled execution, Ravi escapes the prison.
1988 Jeeva Pratap Pothen Sathyaraj, Amala Jeeva, an unemployed youth, lives an ordinary life with his widowed mother and younger sister. His life turns upside down when his family gets murdered.

1993 Vedan Suresh Krissna Sarathkumar, Kushboo Vijay, a policeman, is on a mission to apprehend Bhoopathy, a criminal. He infiltrates the gang to become his right hand man. But in the bargain, he ends up witnessing the killing of his mentor.
1994 Honest Raj K. S. Ravi Vijayakanth, Gautami, Aamani Raj, an honest police officer, awakens from a coma after four years. He yearns to exact revenge against his best friend who turned into a criminal and murdered his wife and mother.
1998 Harichandra Cheyyar Ravi Karthik, Meena Hari, a compulsive liar, falls in love with Nandini, an honest school principal. Though she accepts him for who he is, his habit of lying creates problems in their relationship.

2010 Baana Kaathadi Badri Venkatesh Atharvaa, Prasanna, Samantha Ramesh spends his time flying kites and playing games along with his friends on the streets. However, his life takes a turn for the better when he accidentally meets an aspiring designer, Priya.

Vivegam Siva Ajith Kumar, Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal, Akshara Haasan Ajay Kumar, a former counter-terrorism agent, is called for a special mission. However, he is betrayed by his friends and is accused of extremely treasonous acts.
2019 Viswasam Siva Ajith Kumar, Nayanthara, Jagapati Babu Thookku Durai, a chieftain, gets separated from his wife, Niranjana, after their daughter, Swetha, gets injured during a fight. Years later, he tries to protect Swetha by joining as her car driver without revealing his identity.
