Sommesnil is a commune in the Seine-Maritime department in the Haute-Normandie region in northern France.
Geography
A very small farming village, in the Durdent valley of the Pays de Caux, situated some 32 miles (51 km) northeast of Le Havre, at the junction of the D105 and D106 roads.
