Taichung–Changhua metropolitan area

According to the definition of metropolitan areas formerly used by the Republic of China government in Taiwan, Taichung–Changhua metropolitan area (台中彰化都會區) includes the following areas:

Population among Taichung and Changhua.
Taichung City (core city) Changhua County

However, since the merger of Taichung City and the former Taichung County, the government has abolished the definition as obsolete.[1]
