Qualification

[edit]

@talk:Noncommittalp: Hello, I think my qualification edit is clear and informative. I don't like the old format. It's ugly and confusing. So please stop reverting before people vote on that. Thanks. Ojvolleyball (talk) 22:28, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, I did not create all of the format of volleyball competition. People who frequently edit and active members of Wikiproject at the moment did. And, you want to change, and has changed in other article, I guess. So, I want you to explain to me why the format should change?
Second of all, I don't accept "It's ugly", but I want to know how confusing it was.
Final of all, I don't think how clearer your version than the old one, please clearify. In case of informative, I guess it's about adding previous appearances? There is an article Men's European Volleyball Championship show history of participating. Please explain why we need it here? Thanks Noncommittalp (talk) 22:58, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think there's only one way to show qualification. Active members of Wikiproject don't decide all this. You can see people using all kinds of forms to express info and data such as 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. It's a similar way to express the qualification. We always look for the good example to show data and info.
The old table is ugly not alignment, plus not informative. Take qualifier as example, You don't know why Turkey is qualifed until you click back to see the article to find out:oh! Turkey qualifed as the top team of the Pool. I just wawnt to say not everyone is interested in qualification process. Ojvolleyball (talk) 00:38, 19 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
