History note

The articles Akela (Scouting) and Akela (Jungle Book) were originally one article. In order to maintain proper GFDL attribution of the respective contributors, the history has been split. --BigDT 16:21, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seems absurd

to merge this one, one of the key characters in the work. Refs being added.

I agree that it is quite absurd. I have added some more references and so now remove the large indiscriminate banner tags. Colonel Warden (talk) 02:26, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
