Descendant of Nicholas Biddle?

[edit]

Is he a descendant or relative of Nicholas Biddle?--DThomsen8 (talk) 00:57, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

See Talk:Biddle family there are two: he was great grandson of Nicholas Biddle (banker) (1786–1844), and great-great grandnephew of Nicholas Biddle (naval officer) (1750–1778), by my sources anyway. W Nowicki (talk) 20:24, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Chronological order

[edit]

The article needs help, it zig-zags through his life in no particular order. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 08:12, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I wandered into some other members of the family and added some details to the body, and it looks like you worked on it a bit as well. But it needs work on the "flow" with a real summary for lede. For example, clarifying the two wars plus the time in between. I think a major problem was that it started out being just about the character in an old film that nobody hardly remembers any more. I would say something like "..was an American martial arts expert from a wealthy family." or something like that in the first sentence. He has been written up by the press independently enough that focusing on the film seems undue weight to me. I might have some time to work on it in the next few days unless you or someone else wants to take a stab (pardon the pun). W Nowicki (talk) 17:24, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
