수지 or 숮이?

[edit]

On her official Twitter account, her name is written 숮이 and not 수지. --Christian140 (talk) 12:05, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think is just a frill, since anywhere else is written 수지. --Chiya92 14:54, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of some awards

[edit]

Per consensus reached during previous discussions, I have removed some listed awards. Allkpop, Soompi, etc are polls and aren't real awards. Also, some of the awards which link to no Wikipedia article and are given by an unknown entity have been removed as non-notable. If these awards are notable, find sources that say they are notable and write a Wikipedia article on them. :) Shinyang-i (talk) 03:07, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Endorsements

[edit]

Endorsements are not "awards", and most of them are usually not considered significant milestones of a person's career. Relevant endorsements, which have been covered by independent reliable sources as important advancements in her career, could be briefly mentioned as sourced prose. But a meticulous listing of every single trivial endorsement is promotional listcruft, and against WP:NOTDIRECTORY. A Wikipedia article is not a fan page, it is primarily supposed to be a comprehensive overview for a general audience - regularly omitting insignificant minor details. I removed the endorsements again, please discuss here if needed. GermanJoe (talk) 14:08, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting title back to Bae Suzy + romanization

[edit]

As far as I'm aware, Suzy is not a stage name but rather, the official romanization that is used when promoting her. In essence, her name "수지" can be romanized as both Suzy or Su-ji, so I don't think her name should be treated like a stage name throughout the article. Also, her full name is being used to promote her upcoming album as "裵秀智" in Hanja and her full name is also used when she is credited in films, hence the reversion of the title (it was moved to Suzy (entertainer) without previous discussion too if I recall correctly). Music show appearances

[edit]

An editor has been trying to add all Suzy's music show apprarances under awards ans nominations, this would just about be justified if she was the weekly award winner, but this doesn't seem to be the case. Is this level of coverage justified?--KTo288 (talk) 12:16, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think they really are her wins, since nor Dream or Pretend were promoted on music shows. --Chiya92 08:35, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
They're not reliable sources, but according to our Music Bank (TV series) or Inkigayo article she wasn't a weekly winner in January.--KTo288 (talk) 11:22, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
