Photo

[edit]
I was disappointed with the lack of images of actual bikini baristas, but suppose that this is due to some overly conservative moral policy. (If I am wrong, bring them on!)
However, the article as it stands has two valueless images-for-the-sake-having-images. This increasingly plagues Wikipedia, but is particularly inappropriate and improfessional in an article which lacks images of the actual topic. (Disadvantages include waste of bandwidth, worsening of text flow, time wasted looking for the absent information or illustration of the images, ..., and is generally a sign of someone who wants to write for an airplane journal rather than an encyclopedia.)
I very strongly suggest that they be removed.80.226.24.9 (talk) 22:49, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It is a crying shame that we don't have more tits and ass in this encyclopedia. Instead, we are saddled with information, similar to an airplane journal. Unfortunately, I do not have any appropriately free images to add to the encyclopedic drive for more T&A and excel at writing in airplane journal style.
If someone a bit more encyclopedic has a photo available, they can certainly add it. Until then, we'll have to muddle through with what we have. - SummerPhDv2.0 16:32, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a picture of a barista, but it is cropped in interest of protecting her identity and privacy.--NeoBatfreak (talk) 06:29, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Efforts by the city of Everett to ban bikini baristas

[edit]

North of Seattle, the city of Everett's leaders have had enough of these and are attempting to limit their overexposure[1]. This is currently being fought through the courts[2]. The issues of freedom of speech/expression vs ability of cities to regulate looks set to drag on for a while[3]. C. W. Gilmore (talk) 23:28, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
