Who is the Suntory Logo?[edit]

Does anyone know who the person on the can is? I think Ernest Hemingway or William Faulkner (http://www.weltchronik.de/bio/cethegus/f/faulkner.jpeg) but I can't confirm. If this information could be added to the article, it would be appreciated. VarunRajendran

He looks a lot like Joseph "Joey" Stalin (http://www.cyberussr.com/rus/stalin/s-pipl.jpg). He has the same thick mustache, and even has the squint. And who was more of a "boss" than Stalin? IceJew 19:17, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's no one in particular, straight from the mouth of Suntory: https://news.mynavi.jp/techplus/article/20130505-boss/ 126.216.210.143 (talk) 04:55, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The Boss W.E.B. (World Executive Blend) is much older than 2007 as I distinctly remember it being available when I went to Tokyo 2 years ago. Bride of lister 08:20, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Faulkner as the logo for boss coffee[edit]

The citation for this is extremely poor and does not do anything to substantiate the claim. The sentence should be removed unless a better source is provided. 2603:6000:B201:19A:FC7B:EE71:8B70:C3BA (talk) 04:23, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, there is absolutely no credible basis for the claim, and I literally found a Japanese article in which Suntory is asked who the BOSS logo is, and it's no one in particular: https://news.mynavi.jp/techplus/article/20130505-boss/ 126.216.210.143 (talk) 04:55, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
