It's clear that Buckmaster painted throughout her life, and early on she is referred to explicitly as a talented painter (in press at the time of her marriage). Information on the whereabouts of her paintings, and whether she ever exhibited any of them, would be a useful addition to this entry.Alafarge (talk) 18:18, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have not been able to turn up any information about why she is referred to in sources as 'Celia Joyce' before her marriage instead of by her father's surname of Buckmaster (which she later used for her pen name). This suggests that her birth name may actually have been Celia Joyce Buckmaster, with Joyce a middle name rather than a surname. It would be good to clear this point up, possibly by determining her mother's name.Alafarge (talk) 18:20, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
