Cenotaph (single) → [[:]] Cenotaph (X Marks the Pedwalk song) – To follow standard Wikipedia disambiguation. A bag of crisps - we wouldn't disambuate by bag, the packaging, surely? Richhoncho (talk) 19:03, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose Cenotaph (disambiguation) lists many songs by this name; every article on the album/EP/single has this song. The problem with Wikipedia Singles articles is that many singles include more than one song, so the disambiguator "song" is incorrect in many cases. The rationale for moving this article stated the fact that this article covers multiple songs. At most this would be Cenotaph (X Marks the Pedwalk song) due to the multiple songs existing on the various recordings articles. -- 65.92.181.39 (talk) 04:23, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
- Thankyou. Have amended nomination in view of your correction. --Richhoncho (talk) 18:35, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
- Support with
amended title. Cenotaph (single) should then point to Cenotaph (disambiguation).I took the liberty of fixing the link. Hope that's okay. —Torchiest talkedits 13:19, 1 October 2013 (UTC)- Per BDD's comment, I support with the original title now. I thought the other songs had articles. —Torchiest talkedits 15:17, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
- Support as originally proposed, as this is the only article on a song by this name. --BDD (talk) 21:41, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
- Support amended RM - currently we're disambiguating 2 obscure songs by 2 obscure bands as Cenotaph (single) vs Cenotaph (EP). It would be a lot better to use the 2 bands names as normal. Cenotaph (Bolt Thrower song) now redirects to the EP. In ictu oculi (talk) 06:11, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
- Support Cenotaph (song). It's a better disambiguator than the current one, and per BDD, this is the only song of this name.--Cúchullain t/c 18:43, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
- Support for either proposal. It should be disambiguated as a "song" rather than a "single". --Article editor (talk) 22:18, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
- Support amended RM per In ictu oculi. Cenotaph (EP) clearly contains a song called "Cenotaph" so in effect Cenotaph (song) is not primary to this, even though it is technically at a different location. — Amakuru (talk) 12:55, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Cenotaph (X Marks the Pedwalk song) → Cenotaph (song) – We need to revisit this move discussion in light of the RfC on song article titles and recent RMs such as this and this. The prevailing consensus has been to use the concise disambiguator – (song) – if there are no other articles on songs by different artists; in this case there are no other articles on songs titled "Cenotaph".
