30 HR, 10 3B, 20 2B Seasons
[edit]It is not true that only Joe DiMaggio and Jim Rice had seasons combining the above totals since 1941. A cursory review of stats at baseball-reference.com shows Willie Mays and Duke Snider did it twice, Rudy York, Mickey Mantle, Hank Aaron, Stan Musial, Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Dave Winfield, Vladimir Guerrero, Dick Allen, Mike Schmidt, Nomar Garciaparra, Andre Dawson, Jimmy Rolins, and Dave Parker once.Wikiuser100 (talk) 16:34, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Nickname "King Kong"
[edit]According to the Bill James Historical Baseball Abstract, the nickname "King Kong" was mostly based on his appearance. He was very hairy and very muscular. That's why he hated it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by All outta usernames (talk • contribs) 14:30, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
