HIV status[edit]

I feel there should be some mention on this page of the fact that Jones is HIV-positive. I saw a talk by him once and from what I understand it's something of a minor miracle that he's even alive today, although I don't have a source for this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ebolamunkee (talkcontribs) 05:19, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

The article should mention this. It's clear he's HIV+. (talk) 23:16, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

Material copied from web page[edit]

Much of the article seems to have been copied from Cleve Jones' web page [1]. Click on "ACTIVIST" at the bottom to find the text. This does avoid the risk of libel, but it is likely a copyright violation and it would be better to have independently sourced material.

Also, at least in the short term, interest in this article may increase because of the film Milk. Mark Foskey (talk) 01:08, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Legacy is not a good section title for a live person[edit]

He is still alive. He does not have a Legacy yet. This is an inappropriate section title. --Crunch (talk) 12:50, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Is his name "Cleveland" and shortened to Cleve? Every other person I have met with the name Cleve has used it as an abbreviation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 17:10, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
