Confusion about nationality
[edit]At one point she was an Australian actress, then Nepalese. It could just as well be Tibetan too. I have removed the tag; we should not label her as anything without a source where she states what she identifies herself as. It should be noted that being born in Nepal does not grant you Nepalese nationality. Therefore she should be labeled as an Australian actor of Australian and Tibetan descent since her mother like all other Tibetans living in Nepal would be a Tibetan refugee and would not be considered a Nepalese national by the government of Nepal. She has identified herself to the press as being half Australian and half Tibetan and that she can understand and speak Tibetan but can only understand and not speak Nepali. She has never identified herself as Nepalese to the press.

- Although this request was made 6 years ago I have gone ahead and done it now in order to make the introduction clearer and more accurate. I'm OK if someone wants to drop the German part as being too specific, though. 68.146.52.234 (talk) 00:01, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
