[edit]i think it would make more sense to not have the lyrics of the chorus posted, but the lyrics of the bridge. seeing as how that is what is different from Fefe's original version and the version other artists have used when they cover the song.

The reason is not to differentiate Fefe Dobson's original FROM the cover versions, but to show IT IS INDEED THE SAME SONG [having the same chorus, beat, etc.] due to prior disputes that the cover versions are indeed a cover of THIS song.

still the lyrics of the chorus.
[edit]the thing is, there is no dispute that they are not covers anymore. so having the lyrics to the chorus at this point in time accomplishes nothing. there are links to and from the orignal song, and to Fefe. i dont think it does anything to have the lyrics on the page except to take up space, and make it look trashy, especially since there is no punctuation, and they are actually the incorrect lyrics. you can go to the pages of a million songs and none of them have the lyrics on them. --76.106.178.182 (talk) 02:18, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Fair enough. It has been removed. Regarding the lyrics, they are EXACTLY from the Promotional CD itself written on the trifold digipack. Could you, perhaps, add a music sample of Fefe Dobson's to the article? I haven't done that kind of thing before.—Iknow23 (talk) 03:09, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

- Don't Let It Go to Your Head → Don't Let It Go to Your Head (Fefe Dobson song)
- Don't Let It Go to Your Head (disambiguation) → Don't Let It Go to Your Head
– Fefe Dobson song isn't particularly more significant than other songs by same title, and unlikely to be the intended result in usage now that it has aged a few years. WP:PTOPIC. Will require adjusting hatnotes. djr13 (talk) 20:59, 16 March 2014 (UTC)
- I would consider the Jean Carne version the primary topic because it has spawned multiple cover versions and thus it is more likely that people would be looking for it or a cover. Otherwise fully support.--Launchballer 21:48, 16 March 2014 (UTC)
- FWIW, Don't Let It Go to Your Head (Jean Carne song) has spawned multiple covers as well, although these are now a couple decades old. For recent note a cover of the Jean Carne song was in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004). djr13 (talk) 22:59, 16 March 2014 (UTC)

- Support – no primarytopic for such a common song title. Dicklyon (talk) 04:12, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
- Support per WP:SONGDAB. Including the artist's name in the title is helpful to the reader. —BarrelProof (talk) 05:59, 17 March 2014 (UTC)

- Support, well spotted. No primary, in fact this wasn't the primary in print sources even when the article was new. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:28, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
- User:Launchballer I just added an image, unfortunately not a 45' sleeve, to the Jean Carne song, which is probably more efficient dab for Android users than what is in the ( ) but I don't think removing her name from the song will help anyone. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:34, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
