Sanctioned???

[edit]

Do you have a source for the sanctioning?

J. J. in PA 22:51, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot contact the original poster. A Google search for "Donald A. Bailey" with the words "sanction," "contempt," or "discipline" yields nothing. J. J. in PA 02:50, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In keeping with the policy regarding living people, I removed the line that was added that could be libelous (also removed the line here]. I have kept the dubious tag that refers here. No documentation was given, and I was unable to find a reference; I will restore it if someone can provide documentation.

The contributor of the line is not a registered member, or I'd be asking him directly. I do not like removing anything without contacting the person who made the comment, but it is impossible.

I hope that someone can provide the source.

User Lawprofessor

[edit]

User lawprofesser has made repeated changes to this page that have moved beyond merely adding a questionable line sited above.

His last edit was clearly vandalism.

Lawprofessor has been warned.

Trivia section

[edit]

I added fact tags to two pieces of material. Can we actually get rid of that section and incorporate that material, if sourced, into the article?? JJ in PA was nice enough to provide me with a link to Mr.Bailey's football team going to the Rose bowl. Thanks for that. --Tom 00:46, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I read the material on the most decorated in a political almanac type book (I don't know the description) that listed profiles of incumbents, their voting records and ratings. I read it while researching a report for an introductory poli sci class in 1982. The book was current for 1980-81.

Somebody with access to a college library might have luck finding it.

I removed the tag relating to all star football player because it is mentioned in the footnoted source (which is not on-line).

WikiProject class rating

[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot (talk) 18:48, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Has the creator of this article considered including the external links and sources in the facts themselves? I have seen that most articles like this one usually have, instead of bibliographies, external sources included in the actual information. The bibliography is not labeled, and it is easier to click on a link that is in the information itself, rather than scrolling through endless lines of links to find it. My suggestion: Since I understand that you have many sources for one fact, I suggest taking the best or most reliable source and putting it somewhere on the beginning or the end of one section of the article, and doing the same for all the sections. Thank you for your consideration. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Qwertyhimo (talkcontribs) 22:09, 8 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
