He doesn't have a very personalized (e-)paper trail. I'm making him "American historian & activist" on List of people by name: Zu#Zup - Zus per Ruth Elkins: NY Historian, Efraim Zuroff, To Carry On Wiesenthal's Work, w/ of course a wordier lead-sentence descrip here. IMO, he's a pretty old to consider making him merely "American-born" w/o more specific evidence.

Isn't it time to take off the cleanup or say what there is to clean up? Happy138 12:39, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Guys, I'm confused... is Képíró guilty and convicted of war crimes? The first paragraph referencing him states that he's "Guilty but Unpunished", whereas the subsequent paragraph states that he's been found innocent of charges and cleared.... Are the two paragraphs relating to the same charges or not? If they are, and if Képíró has been ruled innocent of those charges, shouldn't the former paragraph be changed to reflect his correct legal status (unless he's guilty and convicted of other war crimes instead)? 59.191.225.49 (talk) 02:11, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Kepiro was convicted in 1944 and 1946 but not punished. He was found innocent in 2011 and died before an appeal. Happy138 (talk) 06:56, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Aribert Heim is dead!

[edit]

Zuroff is one of Norman Finkelstein's examples of the kind of people making a fortune from the 'holocaust industry'. Heim died in 1992 as stated by his son - even Heim's wikipedia article says so! If this article was NPOV, then Heim's son's testimony and the accompanying evidence would be mentioned. Instead we have numerous links to sensationalist golden wild goose chase TV docs. Perhaps the article needs some expansion on Zuroff's efforts to bring living war criminals closer to home to book...1812ahill (talk) 02:14, 15 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Preserving here by providing this link; my rationale was: "undue and apparently minor [controversy]". --K.e.coffman (talk) 04:01, 8 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
