IGN Updates

[edit]

Developers report that this would be one of the first titles to makes use of WiiConnect24: http://wii.ign.com/articles/749/749393p1.html Also, please update the story. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 130.85.149.88 (talk) 20:28, 6 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Online

[edit]

I was under the impression that no third-party games will be online until 2007? Tim 11:00, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

-I'm going to change that, because it's not entirely accurate. Elebits will not have any online gameplay, but it will make use of some WiiConnect24 features. 70.171.1.142 07:13, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]

Honestly, now, are that many [citation needed] tags necessary? Studentism 10:10, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No UK Release?

[edit]

No? How come? Uber HW 00:30, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Spoiler Warnings

[edit]

I really think the "Spoiler Warnings" are unneccesary. Is anybody really worried about learning the plot of Elebits? Masternimbus 19:05, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oddly enough, alot of people DO care about spoiler warnings. However, I'm fairly certain Wiki changed something so you're not required to say "Spoiler warning" every time.--CrazyOmega (talk) 20:54, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bemani

[edit]

In the level 25 (I think), you can see a pop'n music, a IIDX and a GuitarFreaks arcade that you can put on. Maybe someone verify that and write it in trivia

And a book is named Holy forest, like a song in Pop'n music

Removed "Evolve Fact" Added Trivia

[edit]

I removed the fact that stated "As you play the game slowly evolves". I rented the game today, and there is no "timeline" to evolve the world in any way. Meaning, it always takes place in the same period of time. Also I added a trivia section, not sure if its wanted or needed, but I also added a little fact I noticed. I can add a screenshot if needed for citation. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Azslande (talkcontribs) 02:43, 22 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Australian Release Date Pushed Back.

[edit]

The Australian release for this game was supposed to be February 28, however it has been pushed back to April 15. I'm still looking for a link. - Eyce

Kinds of Elebits

[edit]

I think some of this section might qualify as game advice. Thoughts? Geoff B 22:18, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Game advice == something that should be in GameFAQS == something that should not be in a WP article (see WP:NOT#IINFO). Removing this section. --Masem 22:40, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Screenshots

[edit]

If this article warrants a screenshot section, then it should have more than a single photo. At least three would suffice, but five or more would be better. Anyone? Hina98 21:32, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Hina98[reply]

Development

[edit]

I plan on adding a new section to the Elebits article that will cover the development history of the game. The bulk of the information will be from an issue of Game Developer I've recently acquired. Any comments on the addition can be posted here. Just64helpin 13:25, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Um, never mind. Just64helpin 19:24, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why the name change?

[edit]

Does anyone know why the name was changed to "Eledees" for the European/Australasian release? 217.155.20.163 15:07, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We've yet to find a "reliable" source for the change, but "Elebits" can be read as a reference to genitalia in French; why this also affected the AU release, it's likely just becuase it was easier to stick that way. --Masem 15:40, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's a reference to genitalia in English. At least, 'bits' is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.72.21.221 (talk) 03:49, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
How is 'bits' a reference to genitalia? Geoff B 04:12, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That's akin to saying that "junk" is a reference to genitalia. There are a virtually unlimited number of slang usages of normal words which can be said to fall into this category. As mentioned above, it's because of the French, and presumably it was easier to just leave the same title in for UK and AU versions. --Slordak 12:52, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Elebits.jpg

[edit]

Image:Elebits.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
