Capacity Figures[edit]

It has 10 million customers in Spain, with a domestic generating capacity of over 97,600 GWh from nuclear, fossil-fueled, hydroelectric, and renewable resource power plants. Internationally, it serves another 10 million customers and provides over 80,100 GWh. (Endesa entry as of March 18, 2007)

GWh is a measure of energy not power. Unless some timeframe is given, it is meaningless to say that Endesa has a generating capacity of 97,600 GWh. Is that a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly energy production capacity? I imagine that it's an annual figure, but if so, then we should say as much. Ortcutt 03:06, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gas Natural[edit]

Surely somebody else has noticed how dodgy sounding some of the statements about Gas Natural's takeover are in this article? Where are the sources to back up these statements which may simply come from a minority in the Spanish press? (I cant say, not simply because there is no info provided to help). From what I have read, the Gas Natural deal was preferred by many over the E.On one? Anybody have any idea about this then? --Simonski (talk) 16:26, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Support. We have WP:TWODABS here, and the Chilean one used to be named after its Spanish parent company: As of April 2009, it is owned by Enersis with a 60% stake, which in turn is 61% owned by Endesa International SA, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Spanish Endesa Group. – but is not anymore. I don't see the need to complicate things with the dab page when there's only one item named "Endesa", and the other can be easily pointed to by the hatnote.
