Article title[edit]

This should be titled Death of Fahim Saleh or Murder of Fahim Saleh. It's not much of a biography and he isn't notable except for his death; it's an article about him being killed. Schazjmd (talk) 00:53, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There are two potentially relevant policies here, WP:BLP1E and WP:BIO1E. Per the note in WP:BIO1E, the BLP policy applies if he is low-profile while the BIO policy applies otherwise. He seems to be a high-profile individual given this article entirely about him which he voluntarily participated in, in addition to his eminence as a founder of a number of major companies. Thus WP:BIO1E applies.
For WP:BIO1E, I'm frankly not sure. Other than that single article I mentioned previously, all of the coverage currently on Wikipedia about him is about his death. However, they all contain significant information about him, and an article about his death would contain a large amount of biographical information on him. I think leaving it as it is would be fine, but I certainly could be easily swayed to the other way. Gbear605 (talk) 14:34, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
An anonymous user provided some more citations below, which I've added to the article. With these, I think that he's notable enough that he would have warranted an article even before his death. Given that, I think that the article title and subject should be kept as it is. Gbear605 (talk) 17:14, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Keep the title[edit]

Fahim Saleh is famous for his talent since he was 18. He is called 'Elon Musk of the developing World' in his community and friends. Ref: https://nypost.com/2020/07/15/who-was-fahim-saleh-the-tech-ceo-brutally-dismembered-in-nyc/ He is also the founder of www.prankdial.com had generated over $10 million since 2018. He is more than what public knows. Please keep him in wikipedia.

===keep article but with correct title===
The article should be kept but specifically updated to murder of Fahim Saleh. The link you have posted here is about his murder. There are no links or articles about his life before events of his murder that meet WP:WHYN. All articles that qualify for encyclopedic inclusion are about his death. Articles on wikipedia are not based on sensations, they have to be verified, sourced and reliable for inclusion. Where are these articles about his talent and prankdial?? There is no evidence anywhere that shows Fahim was famous for his talent since he was 18 or specifically being an Elon musk of the developing world. Articles on wikipedia must meet WP:GNG and WP:SUSTAINED for inclusion.Radidoman (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 06:37, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Keep the title[edit]

Murder Category[edit]

There is a conversation about whether or not categorizing this and many other articles as murder is appropriate. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:2021_Atlanta_spa_shootings#Category:murder I welcome anyone's input.Yousef Raz (talk) 21:25, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
