[edit]I believe this entry ought to be deleted, since being an occasional columnist in the press is not sufficient to pass wikipedia notability. She may well be related to genuine notables, but again this insufficient to be notable herself. Ms Bhutto has yet to make a name for herself as an author/poet or politician either, I'm afraid. She is also an author. Her latest book is out next year. She is also a prominent activist and intellectual in Pakistan. She appeared on Talk Asia/CNN. She was supposedly dating George Clooney. She's someone. MAKootage (talk) 05:14, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
The Witness of Bhatto Kalan
[edit]I know about the native village of Bhutto family in India. Many people who use to go abroad or far away from their own native village uses the village name as their last name. There are many examples of such use of last name driven from native village. So Bhatto family also used the name of their native village as their last name. But soon after Bhatto family became political star in Sindh. A flux of multitude migrated from India to Pakistan. However, local people gave them different despised names like as Panahgeer. When political star family saw that they would be fallen in same category of Panahgeer. They changed spelling of Bhatto to Bhutto. A ready-made terminology was introduced to Sindhi people that Bhutto is actually driven from Bhutta. Yes Bhutta is really one of the native cast living in Punjab province. But Question is this is there only one Bhutta family came from Punjab who called themselves Bhutto? And is he only Sir. Shahnawaz as the first Bhutta person who came in Sindh? If you see Bhutto history in Sindh it start from Sir. Shahnamwaz Bhutto to Fatima Bhutto. THe lape of time between Sir. Shahnawaz Bhutto to Fatima Bhutto might be less then 100 years. Does it means that Bhutto tribe came into existence within 100 years only? It is obviously wrong. It can be right only in one condition that Bhutto is not a tribe but it is newly adopted last name by some family. So Bhutto family used as same. —Preceding unsigned comment added by • contribs) 17:51, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
Benazir Bhutto assassination
[edit]I'd like to hear if Ms. Fatima has a reaction to her aunt's assassination. 209.112.146.104 (talk) 17:42, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
- I wonder if she might be a future PPP leader... 70.51.10.206 (talk) 07:07, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Nationality
[edit]She is not Afganistani, but Pakistani. Just because she was born in Kabul does not make her an Afganistani. 86.132.124.85 (talk) 01:39, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
She has a Pashtun mother.--84.59.190.210 (talk) 15:57, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
Politician infobox
[edit]Currently the article states
Following the assassination of her aunt, Benazir Bhutto, her entrance into politics has been speculated. She has stated that for now she prefers to remain active through her writing, rather than through elected office. She has also stated, "I don't believe in birthright politics. I don't think, nor have I ever thought, that my name qualifies me for anything."
We should not be using the politician box until she has a taken a party post.--Alf melmac 20:01, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
i would like to know how many articles she has written recently, and doest she writes for a pakistani newspaper at the present time? since it seems that it is a long time that she has not written any new article for the news. and i also think that her entry in wikipedia must be updated, and it should contain some information about her recent activities and also link to her recent articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.218.171.200 (talk) 07:41, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Her relationship with Ghinwa Bhutto needs to be clarified. This article states that Ghinwa is Fatima's stepmother, however in other wiki articles about the Bhutto family, Ghinwa is said to be her real mother. Which is correct? Update: Okay, now I get it; her biological mother is Fauzia.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.247.147.100 (talk) 16:07, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
I think this is better
[edit]Lot of people are talking about future of Miss Fatima Bhutto in polits of Pakistan. I do not know what will be her future plan.
But what I think is that she and Bilawal must do one thing and that is "they must do something to end the tension going on between their families and togather work for spreading the teachings of their grand father Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto"
How romantic it will be if they marry together, with eachother of-course.
I'd like to see some creditable pictures and refernces about her relationship with Clooney. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.214.157.94 (talk) 18:02, 1 October 2009 (UTC) --KFateh (talk) 04:52, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
I am removing external links.
[edit]- I think in this biographical article most of external links are not important nor valuable.Wikipedia is not a literary or political forum or personal website or an online Magazine, where can be performed anyone's point of views, and neither wikipedia is a party standing along side of anybody.Wikipedia is a just encyclopedia.
In this regard,I have concerns relating to neutrality, promotion, and a kind of advertising, which is against the policies and guidelines of wikipedia. I assume good faith for and remove nearly most of the external links. If anyone disagrees, please before reverting, first discuss on the article discussion page, and there should be consensus. Thanks.
