Hitler's jail term
[edit]Evans 2003 says on page 194 that Hitler was arrested on November 11, 1923 (two days after the putsch). The trial started on 26 February 1924 (Evans 2003, page 195), but there's no indication that he was released on bail. He remained in jail throughout. He was released on 20 December 1924. "He still had almost four years of his sentence to run" (Evans 2003, page 199). — Diannaa (talk) 20:46, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
unnecessity of biological racism
[edit]> Despite his extreme antisemitism, Goebbels spoke of the "rubbish of race-materialism" and of the unnecessity of biological racism for the Nazi ideology. He also described Himmler's ideology as "in many regards, mad" and thought Alfred Rosenberg's theories were ridiculous.
- Um... so is that why there is no mention of "The Eternal Jew (film) and The movie Jud Süß?

Use of the term “Acolyte”
[edit]Why is Goebbels described as an “acolyte”? “Accolade” would be a much better term since the Nazi party, at least officially, was not a religious organization and didn’t ordain acolytes to any position. Oogalee Boogalee (talk) 21:24, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
- I have changed it to "follower". — Diannaa (talk) 00:48, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

Successor of Hitler
[edit]Successor of Hitler is wrong. It was admiral donitz how was in the will of Hitler. 37.96.3.87 (talk) 08:07, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
- It's not about the will, but about the roles of chancellor and president (which were merged by the Enabling Act of 1933 into Hitler as Führer and Reichskanzler); the following happened: on 30 April 1945, when Hitler committed suicide, he was briefly succeeded as Chancellor by Joseph Goebbels and as President of Germany by Grand Admiral Karl Dönitz. When Goebbels also committed suicide, Dönitz appointed Count Schwerin von Krosigk as head of government with the title "Leading Minister". Lectonar (talk) 08:26, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
