I'm trying to fix this up.

[edit]

I'm trying to get this to be a acceptable article. I am new to editing Wikipedia, and so I can't guarantee my work will be fitting with every standard. If somebody sees this and I am doing something wrong, please tell me or fix it.

How much should I tell? For example, should I list every ship, or just say it is about airships? — Preceding unsigned comment added by KeonSkyfire (talkcontribs) 22:41, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your interest. While Guns of Icarus Online remains in beta, I would recommend that you focus on the creation and expansion of sections entitled 'Development', 'Gameplay', and 'Setting'. Among Wikipedia's video game entries, its featured articles illustrate the ideal depth of coverage for these sections, for example: Aquaria, Flower, and Flow. These articles demonstrate that the inclusion of lists detailing factions, ships, weapons, and miscellany isn't a prerequisite for excellent content, and this 'cruft' may diminish the quality of the article unintentionally. Typical outlets for reliable information on video games include GameSpy, GameStop, Eurogamer, Edge, IGN, Joystiq, Rock, Paper, Shotgun, and Kotaku, and it's preferable to prioritise their journalists' articles, reviews, and previews over primary sources, such as Muse Games's blogs or forums. Good luck! Mephistophelian (talk) 05:15, 1 September 2012 (UTC).[reply]

Alright I think most of the introduction could be moved to a development section honestly. 131.247.152.4 (talk) 09:37, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
